My name is Joy Orvis, and I am running to be your next Secretary on the State Executive Committee for the Republican Party of Minnesota. I am proud to say I am from Minnesota and have lived here most of my life. However, like so many conservatives, I am tired of the failed Democrat policies that are destroying our schools, communities, and our state.

Driven to Serve

My faith and family values have motivated me to devote my time and talents to the Republican Party of Minnesota. As a Christian mother of 5, Minnesota is my home and I will fight for our way of life for my family and yours.

I am also a 4th generation Minnesotan that comes from a long line of hard- working family members who love God, believe in Christian family values, and proudly defend the USA. My grandparents and their parents before them were farmers in Western Minnesota since the late 1800s. I have several family members who have served in our military, including my dad, who was a Marine; my brother, who is a Staff Sergeant for the Red Bulls currently serving in the MN Army National Guard for over 15 years; my grandparents served in the Korean War and WWII, and my uncles served in Vietnam. Because of them and all our soldiers, I am humbled to serve in any capacity I can in my community, in our schools, and for the Republican Party, fighting to keep our freedoms here at home.

Qualified To Represent

My goal and commitment as your Secrecarty for the RPM is to continue to leverage my professional skills and politica experience at the state level to provide tangible support to our BPOUs and Affiliate Groups. I will also continue to be a strong Christian conservative activist to ensure the voice of our grassroots is well represented on the State Executive Committee for the Republican Party of Minnesota.

I have the political experience, professional experience, and campaign experience to represent all Republicans in Minnesota and I humbly ask for your vote as your next Secretary on the Executive Committee for the Republican Party of Minnesota.

Experienced To Lead

Most recenlty I worked on the Donald J. Trump Campaign for President as a Regional Field Director in Southwestern Minnesota. I was responsible for recruiting, training, and activating over 200 volunteers in just 90 days to reach voters my territory that covered 25 county and three Congressional Districts, that stretched from Stearns County to Big Stone County, down to Rock County and over to Martin County, and up through Sibley and McLeod Counties. In just three short months my volunteer crew of door knockers and phone backers distributed over 10,000 signs, 100,000 pieces of literates and made over 50,000 voter contacts that contributed to the greatest voter turnout in Minnesota for President-elect Donald J. Trump.

Prior to my work for the Trump Campaign, my experience in the MNGOP has been behind-the-scenes. I have volunteered my time and talents in marketing, communications, and event coordination for the Republican Party throughout the state of Minnesota since 2016. As a grassroots conservative, I have consistently served in my BPOU in Roseau County for 6 years and served 2 terms as a Vice Chair on the CD7 Executive Committee. I am also a founding member of the Northwestern Minnesota Republican Women’s club, where I was elected to serve as the CD7 Director on the Executive Committee of the Minnesota Federation of Republican Women.

Professionally, I am a marketing and communications strategist and have leveraged my 14 years of experience as a major and national media key accounts manager to help fundraise for our BPOUs, CD7, and Republican-endorsed candidates. My volunteer work for the Party has involved creating communications and developing multimedia campaigns that include website development, social media management, email campaigns, search engine marketing, direct mail, and newspaper and radio ads.

Additionally, I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and do the physical work of walking in parades and pounding signs. I am a firm believer in supporting our Republican elected representatives by coordinating town halls and meet and greets. I have supported our endorsed candidates by decorating parade floats, handing out literature, door knocking, and walking in parades.
